Elaine Spottswood
Elaine Spottswood is a Miami based designer and the founder of Spottswood Interiors. Her past work consists of residential, hospitality and commercial spaces. She began her career in design working with her father, Robert Spottswood, for the family business, Spottswood Companies. She and her three siblings grew up in Miami and Key West – giving her a diverse upbringing and exposure to different cultures. Her Mother, Elena Guardiola Spottswood, of Cuban decent, instilled traditional and Catholic values, while encouraging world travels and giving her children the added value of being bilingual. Elaine graduated from the University of Florida, spent some time in New York City – working for a design firm, and returned to Miami where she now lives with her two sons Luca and Noah.
Design and real estate have always been a part of Elaine’s world. She has had her real estate license since right after college and began exploring the Miami market. She quickly realized that design was her passion and saw a direct connection between the two.
